A Little About MyselfMy name is Jordyn Ralphs. I was born here in Salt Lake City, raised in the small towns of Montana, and finally I am back here in my home state of Utah. I've got quite complicated the family tree but I love absolutely everyone in it. I have been raised as a person who respects their family and is willing to help when someone needs it.
My passions in life include almost anything outdoors, health and fitness, cute and cuddly animals, volunteer service, and music. Speaking of outdoors one of my most adventurous hobbies is being in a Jeep and exploring the wonderful landscape we have here in Utah. I fully believe that taking care of oneself is essential to happiness; I try to eat healthy, workout regularly and meditate to keep my head square on my shoulders. I am naturally drawn to almost all animals and love taking care of them. I feel that volunteer service is not only good for the community but also good for your soul. Almost all of my volunteer service is at animal shelters helping the animals that didn't get dealt the best hand of life. Finally, the sound of music is the most beautiful and therapeutic thing I have experienced. There is just something about a good melody that lets me get lost in my own world and forget about everything else. Fall 2021 is my first semester at SLCC and I'm excited that I've finally been able to pursue this challenge. My plan is to study Exercise Science/Kinesiology becuase I want to know more about the body and the way it functions with exercise. Right now I don't have any specific career goals; I'm just persuing this degree for myself! |
